DPDP Act, 2023 Compliance Notice This privacy notice describes how WishKaro Studio ("we", "us", or "our") processes personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India, as well as global standards (GDPR, CCPA). Please read this notice carefully to understand our practices.

1. Nature of Data Processing (100% Client-Side)

WishKaro Studio is a client-side utility suite. Under the DPDP Act, 2023, we act as a Data Fiduciary only in the transient sense. We do not transmit, upload, save, or retain your personal data (including Names or Uploaded Photos) on any cloud database, backend server, or storage device.

All image generation, text overlay, name formatting, and photo fit logic are executed locally in your browser using HTML5 Canvas APIs. Once you download the card or close the tab, no trace of your inputs remains on our servers.

2. Data We Collect & Purpose

While we do not store your data, the following transient inputs are processed locally to fulfill your explicit requests:

  • Data Principal Name: Formatted locally on custom cards.
  • Uploaded Photo: Blended locally on the preview panel.
  • Language Preferences: Used to render regional translations locally via unauthenticated client API hooks.

3. Cookies and Third-Party Advertisements

We partner with third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdSense, nap5k, 3nbf4, and gizokraijaw) to monetize the site. These networks may deploy cookies, device identifiers, or web beacons to gather behavioral data:

  • Purpose: Delivering personalized advertisements, tracking ad impressions, and preventing fraud.
  • Opt-Out: You can manage cookie settings in your browser, install ad blockers, or withdraw consent using standard cookie consent frames.

4. Rights of Data Principals

Under the Indian DPDP Act, 2023, you hold the following rights:

  • Right to Correction & Erasure: Since we do not retain data on servers, you can erase all local data simply by clearing your browser cache/cookies or closing the tab.

  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent to ad networks at any time by blocking cookies or leaving the site.

5. Processing Children's Data

In accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023, we do not knowingly process data of children (individuals under the age of 18) without parent or guardian consent. Parents are advised to oversee their children's use of the site.
